NYSC Camp Registration Requirements
When you’re getting ready to join the NYSC camp in 2023, there are some very important things you need to take with you. Here is a list of what you must have:
1. Final Year ID Card
- Bring: Original ID card + 2 photocopies.
- Where to get: Go to your school’s Student Affairs office.
- Note: NYSC only wants school ID or final year ID. They do not want department IDs.
2. Statement of Result (B. SC or HND)
- Bring: Original statement + 4 photocopies.
- For foreign students: Bring your original certificates.
- For polytechnic students: Bring ND and HND statements.
- For medical students: If you are a doctor, pharmacist, optometrist, etc., bring proof you finished your internship or housemanship. Also, bring an original certificate from the Nigerian Medical Council, Pharmacist Board, or Optometrist Registration Council.
3. NYSC Call-up Letter
- Bring: Original call-up letter + 4 photocopies.
- Remember: Do not cover your call-up letter in plastic (laminate). The camp people will not take it if you do.
4. NYSC Green Card
- Bring: Original Green Card + 4 photocopies.
- What is it?: It’s a paper you get after you do the NYSC online sign-up.
- Important: Like the call-up letter, do not cover it in plastic. Also, when you print it, use color ink.
5. Passport Photograph
- Bring: 8 copies.
- Color: The background should be white or a very light color.
6. Medical Certificate of Fitness
- Bring: 2 copies.
- Where to get: Any government hospital or army clinic in Nigeria.
7. Uploaded Documents
- For people who studied outside Nigeria, you need to bring the real copies of everything you put on the NYSC website.
