Nigeria Youth Futures Fund 2023/24: Calling All Young Leaders
NYFF Grant 2023 – Help for Nigeria’s Youth Projects
Amount: $1000 to $50,000
The Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF) is looking for people and groups who have ideas for projects to help young people in Nigeria in 2023/24. They want to make the lives of young people better and are giving money to those who have good plans.
What is NYFF?
NYFF is like a big team made by LEAP Africa, MacArthur Foundation, and Ford Foundation. They all came together to help young leaders in Nigeria. They have three main ways to do this:
- Future Ideas Group: This group talks about what young people think and want for the future of Nigeria.
- Young Leaders Program: This is like a school where young leaders learn and grow. They also give money to young people who have good ideas.
- Online Talking and Sharing: NYFF uses the internet to let young Nigerians talk about what they want for their country with the hashtag #theNigeriaWeWant.
What Kind of Projects?
The Youth Leadership Fund, highlighted on Voice of Nigeria, will focus on specific main topics. These topics stem from the desires expressed by young individuals during the NYFF’s planning. There’s a report titled “Nigeria We Want” on our site that you can delve into. If you’re considering applying to the fund, ensure your project aligns with these core topics and has the potential to enact positive change in your community
Main Project Ideas:
Better Government:
Projects that help people:
- Take part in their country and become leaders.
- Make better rules and decisions for everyone.
- Make sure everyone is honest and does the right thing.
Fixing Big Problems:
Projects that:
- Help people get along and stop fighting.
- Make sure everyone is treated fairly.
- Teach everyone to love their country and each other.
Using Fun Ways to Share
NYFF likes when people use fun ways like music, movies, art, and computers to share their ideas. If you and your friends have a project together, you can all ask for money from NYFF as one group.
Young people are important for Nigeria’s future. NYFF’s money for 2023/24 is a chance for them to show their ideas and make Nigeria better. If you’re young and have an idea, this is your time.
